Alzheimer Research and Care Funding Delayed
(Source: Alzheimer's Association) - The 2006 session of Congress ended on December 9th after lawmakers failed to agree on the 2007 federal budget, including the bills that fund Alzheimer research and care programs. As a result, Congress passed a temporary agreement, known as a "continuing resolution" (H. J. Res 102), which will maintain level funding for Alzheimer programs until Feb. 15, 2007.
